Mashatu – Tented Camp
Mashatu Game Reserve, Known as the land of the giants, with its large numbers of herds of Elephants, giraffe & Eland. Over 350 species of birds in a 72000 acre private reserve where the Limpopo and Shashe rivers converge. This reserve is a photographers dream, with its sunken hides and breath-taking landscapes.
Kruger, Timbavati. – Walkers River Camp
The camp is situated at the south western end of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, and shares a common unfenced border with the Kruger National Park allowing animals free range and ensuring guests to the area the opportunity to view the greatest diversity of wildlife that Africa has to offer. Guests are able to view the big game from open vehicles, on foot or from the comfort of your room as you experience timeless Africa. The Timbavati reserve is renowned for its large number of animals and birds. The Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Lion. Unique river birds such as the Purple Crested Lourie are common at the River Camp, and the critically endangered African wild dog is also a regular visitor to the Timbavati Reserve. An open Landrover Game Viewer vehicle is on hand for game drives. The terrain is undulating with altitudes varying between 300 and 500m above sea level in a savannah type bushveld and woodland.
